Evangelos D. Protopapadakis

Evangelos D. Protopapadakis currently is Professor of Applied Ethics and Bioethics at the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens. He is also the Head of the Greek Unit of the UNESCO Chair in Bioethics (Haifa), and a board member of the UoA Ethics and Deontology Committee. He has have authored one book in English, four in Greek, edited one in English, co-edited two in Greek and one in Serbian. See  full cv and list of publications here.  

 

Achilleas Kleisouras

Special Technical Laboratory Staff

Achilleas Kleisouras is employed as a Special Technical Laboratory Staff at the Applied Philosophy Research Laboratory of the Department of Philosophy of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens. He studied Physics at the University of Athens, History and Creative Writing at McGill and Concordia University, and Comics and Illustration at Dawson College in Montreal, Canada. He holds a Master's in Creative Writing from the Hellenic Open University and is currently a PhD candidate at the same University in the field of Modern Greek Literature. His research interests focus mainly on the literature of nineteenth century Greece and it's adaptation into the comic form, as well as the various applications of comics and graphic novels in the medical field (i.e. graphic medicine). He is also an illustrator and comic strip artist and several of his works have appeared in Greek publications over the years. He has published a comic album and authored a collection of short stories in English.
