Panagiotis Chrysopoulos

I was born in Athens in 1993. In 2017 I received my Bachelor’s degree in Philosophy from the Department of Philosophy, Pedagogy and Psychology of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens, where I am attending the M.A. Program “Philosophy” since 2018. I am member of Conatus – Journal of Philosophy, the international biannual peer-reviewed open-access philosophical journal of the NKUA Applied Philosophy Research Laboratory and the National Documentation Center and member of the APR Lab. My research interests are focused on the fields of bioethics, philosophy of technology and phenomenology. Simultaneously I am focusing on historical research on themes based on the ottoman domination at the Balkans and Asia Minor and the elaboration of Philosophy at the same era and region.

Ioannis Ladas

Dr. Ioannis Ladas was born in Athens in 1990. He studied at General Private High School «Theomitor» from 2005 to 2008. Then, he studied Theology at Faculty of Social Theology (School of Theology) of National and Kapodistrian University of Athens and he graduated in 2012 (first class -9,33/10), receiving a prize honor from the State Scholarship Foundation (IKY). Subsequently, he studied Philosophy at Department of Philosophy at University of Patras and he graduated in 2018. He is master degree holder in Ethic Philosophy (first class 9,40/10) from University of Athens and in Dogmatic and Symbolic Theology (first class 10/10) from Aristotle University of Thessaloniki. At the same time he has attended postgraduate courses in Theology at Protestant Faculty of Charles University in Prague and in Philosophy at Boğaziçi University in Istanbul. Moreover, he has participated in European research programs and in World and International theological and philosophical conferences and has several publications.

Lydia Tsiakiri

I was born in Athens in 1997. I attended High School and Lyceum of Marathon, from where I graduated with grade 19.2. I have been awarded twice by the General Staff because of my grades in the two last years at Lyceum. Today, I' m an undergraduate student of the Department of Philosophy, Pedagogy and Psychology of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens, in the major of Philosophy. Simultaneously, I attend the Minor of “International Relations” in Deree: The American College of Greece, for which I have been awarded by Stavros Niarchos Foundation. My research interests are related to the field of Applied Ethics and especially the one of Bioethics.

Vasilios Stratis

I was born in 1968. I studied History and Archaeology in the Department of History and Archaeology of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens with a specialization in Archaeology and Art history ( I received my Bachelor’s degree in 1994 ). I also studied English language and Literature in the Department of English Studies of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens with an emphasis on English Literature and Culture ( I received my Bachelor’s degree in 2002 ). Since 2017, I have been attending the M.A. Program “Philosophy” ( ‘History of Philosophy’ ) in the Department of Philosophy, Psychology and Pedagogy of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens. For my postgraduate studies I have been awarded with a scholarship of excellence from the M.A. Program “Philosophy”.  I am  an associate editor in  Conatus – Journal of Philosophy, the international biannual peer-reviewed open-access philosophical journal of the NKUA Applied Philosophy Research Laboratory and the National Documentation Center. I am a member  of the NKUA Applied Philosophy Research Lab Press. I have worked as an English teacher in language schools. Since 2002, after my successful participation in the ASEP personnel recruitment national exams, I have been working as a teacher of Philosophy, Classics, Greek, History and English in Greek  state schools in Greece. I have also worked in Greek schools in France   and Germany , as well as in the Staatliche Europa- Schulen in Berlin/ Germany. I have also studied Acting and Singing in a Theatre School in Athens and have participated in theatre performances and an English- speaking short film. I speak English, French, German and Italian fluently and can understand Spanish to a satisfactory extent.  

My research interests are focused on the History of Philosophy, Philosophy of Religion, Aesthetics, Iconology  and Ethics (H.  Bergson, B. Spinoza, Neoplatonism, Stoicism, German Idealism, Jean Baudrillard ).

Vasiliki Maria Tzatzaki

Thesis title: “Water in Public International Law” 

She holds a PhD from the National and Kapodistrian University. Moreover, she holds an LLM from the London School of Economics and Political Science as well as the Faculty of Law of the University of Athens. For the last ten years she works as a Legal Advisor in the Special Secretariat for Water of the Hellenic Ministry of Environment and Energy. She has participated in international conferences and she has published articles on issues regarding the human right to water, bioethics, climate change adaptation and the protection of the marine environment. Currently, she works on a post-doc thesis on the topic: ‘The human right to water from a legal and ethical perspective: A comparative analysis’.

Georgia - Zoi Tsouchlaraki

Georgia - Zoi Tsouchlaraki studied Classics and she obtained her Bachelor’s degree from the Department of Philology, at the University of Patras in 2016. Her scientific interests are especially focused on Ancient Greek Philosophy and Platonism. She is a member of the Conatus Journal of Philosophy since 2015.

 

 

 

Despina  Vertzagia

I was born in Athens in 1994. In 2016 I received my Bachelor’s degree in Philosophy from the Department of Philosophy, Pedagogy and Psychology of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens, where I am attending the M.A. Program “Philosophy”. For my postgraduate studies I have been awarded with a scholarship of excellence from the M.A. Program “Philosophy” and with a fellowship from the Sasakawa Young Leaders Fellowship Fund (SYLFF). I am a founding member and the Managing Editor of Conatus – Journal of Philosophy, the international biannual peer-reviewed open-access philosophical journal of the NKUA Applied Philosophy Research Laboratory and the National Documentation Center. I am also the Managing Editor of the NKUA Applied Philosophy Research Lab Press. My research interests are focused on the fields of political philosophy and philosophy of law. Currently I am also employed as a Fleet Sales Administrator for the Lamda Central S.A.
